Self promoting on twitter

I want to learn how to self promote on twitter. Some backround about what I do: I am a seller of instagram accounts and I primarily have taken advantage of the comment sections of instagram posts with high activity. Basically I would follow 300-500 large meme pages, and I would refresh my home feed and comment on any posts that are >5 minutes old “Selling this account DM me offers”. Normally I would get a surplus of DMs and make the sale in no time but with instagrams stricter algorithms and action blocks it is becoming harder and harder.

I have decided to turn to twitter to sell my instagram pages. Is it as common for people to self promote on twitter as it is for instagram? I don’t see nearly the same amount of people self promoting in twitter comment sections and was wondering if it’s possible and the best way to do it. If anyone has experience or knowledge with twitter self promotion I would greatly appreciate some pointers. Thank you

You can DM owners of big pages on Twitter in the same niche as your Instagram page. They might be interested in your offer. I know Twitter accounts that was sold that way.

The best way is to find 10-15 people in your niche (you can use followerwonk) find peoiple with around 8-15k account sizes. Put your offer in your bio AIDA.

Start interacting with those accounts, reply to their tweets, get them to retweet you. Slowly reach out and DM them a few per day.

Adding value to their tweets is the best way to start getting eyes on your bio.
