Hey guys, I started up a few auto blogs on my other computer. Debian LAMP. Obviously it's awesome having physical access to the server (I can even grab the harddrive, throw it into my BlacX) and resources (dual core, 2GB ram, 600GB hdd). It runs pretty well. I feel working is a lot more efficient/quicker when you have this kind of access. I don't have to worry about using over 2% CPU, lol, or being shut down because of a bad cron or something.
I'm aware there's security risks involved, and I have to setup backups.
What I'm wondering is if I have worry about my ISP. At the moment there's nothing illegal or adult, but I want to setup a cecash or rude site soon. Will I have a problem hosting adult material? Adult material isn't against any laws in Canada. Obviously warez can be. So no warez.
I can upgrade ISP later, to say a 100mbps uplink, but not right now. Just a standard plan (25mbps/1mbps).
What do you think? Anyone doing this?
Thanks in advance!
