I got a question about Images which are used in various gadgets as the button or as a background image.

Is it better to self-host them, or host them on a free image hosting site, such as photobucket, in terms of site loading speed, visibility, or any other reasons???

For example, i have a blogger blog and i go and get a Custom 3rd Party StumbleUpon Sharing Button to install as a widget on my blog. I install it in the HTML area. And in the code, for/as the button, there is a Custom Image which is hosted on Photobucket. Is it better to download that image and host it on my blog in a draft post, or is it not better, or does it not make any difference??

    Thanks a lot
