Hi guys, i have a collection of niche porn in my pc and i'm looking to share with ppl around the world, also most importantly make some money.

I've been doing survey on BHW for a week now, and what troubles me is the server. Some ppl call it streaming server and some call it storage server. The reason i want to self host is i tried a few third party services like doodstream etc. Well, the ads are too much.

Anyway, there are some affordable options i really like: oneprovider (dedicated server with 1tb hdd), contabo (storage vpn with 800gb ssd).

I'm a total noob, i also see someone mentioned vultr object storage which is only $6 for 1tb +bandwidth. The thing for this is, do i pair it with an offshore hosting? How do i serve the content?

The reason i stated "copyright" content is i got all my videos from torrent and i cut them into 1-3 mins, like bj porn or feet porn for example. They're still considered copyright even for short clips, so i can't find a solution because i don't think any host accept copyright content and they could just remove everything from me.

I also heard of bunnycdn which has storage that pays as you go. I think it's easier as they serve the content for you? It's expensive so i don't consider it.

Could anyone tell me how it works? For short porn videos that i don't own, do i need dmca ignored off shore hosting? If yes, do i get additional storage server to self host? If yes, does vultr object storage work with the main host?

Thanks!!!

For now, simply get an offshore dedicated server with minimum of 1gbps dedicated uplink (not shared), and get it with SSD hard drives, it will run your video content smoothly, and it will be quite cheap too, if your traffic really grows up, then you can simply only upgrade your uplink to 2gbps, 5gbps to 10gbps etc. That same server will act as your web server, streaming server and storage server, it will save you money too, and also you will have full control over your content, hosting and server.

I'm looking at lyrahosting vps storage to start. What's your thought about it? I don't know whether their uplink is shared tho. And the hard drive is SAS instead of SSD (7.99 for 250GB). It fits my requirement so far but what do i know.
