Self-hosted Stats Tools?

What tool(s) do people use if they choose the self-hosted route?

I guess Piwik is supposed to be pretty good, but I'm partial to the log-based approach. Is awstats the defacto (only?) choice in that case? What other options are there?

And what kinds of statistics and graphs and tracking do tools like awstats support? Last I looked at something like awstats, it was quite primitive.... But maybe it or another tool like it has caught up to the likes of GA and Piwik?

if you want some minimalistic you can take a look at bbclone ... but this tool has no graphs

btw I'm using piwik and please with it.

Personally, I use AwStats for self hosted and GA for more in depth logging
