Say you post your product for xxx amount. Slap an affiliate link and buy it yourself under an anonymous identity, fresh IP, and what not. Does this work? Will Ebay cough up cash from their own pockets?

I post a product for $100. Someone across the world "finds" my affiliate link and purchases the item. I get paid whatever percent Ebay offers. Said person decides to "resell" the product for a higher price which is then repeated over again.

This may be an old idea, but it's a thought I am currently toying around with. Any suggestions or Thoughts?

Of course it's possible but it's very hard to scale and it's very illegal which means there's a massive risk involved for low reward.

I see. I guess it's a long shot to post a $20,000 car as an affiliate product and cash out 4% on single transaction

What about having a family member buy it? Friends?
This could work but the amount you get in profit would be so small. To put 2 accounts in jeopardy would be too much risk for the reward that might be gotten.

Best to use friends, and opt for big ticket purchases (TVs, etc). Even use co-workers - just split the aff pay.
