Mate - first thing is well done for getting off your arse and actually doing something, simply by doing that you are in the market to produce results and get things moving.
That said though if your looking to make some money out of this site (page!) then you may want to rethink a few things. Firstly, the keyword you have choosen which I believe is 'selecting car insurance' does not have much in the way of searches and will therefore not bring you much in the way of traffic. Secondly, you are going to need something alittle more substantial in terms of content than what you currently have. Your home page to stand any chance needs to be keyword rich and a good 700-800 words at min.
As you probably know the car insurance market is saturated but there are still some juicy long tail keywords out there and in my view this is the only way you are going to get any form of look in. If your whitehat then simply follow the above and start getting some links from decent sites using some form of research tool to get things and google indexing your site and get as many of them as possible.
create more pages based upon long tails and link to them (deep linking) as well - best thing to do is to sit down and draw up a decent plan to include site design, layout, amount of pages, content of pages based on keywords, and backlinking work you need to do.
I have many sites and the ones which have proven succcessful are the ones with substantial unique content with a decent amount of pages - if the contents good people will link to it themselves which is preceisly what happended to my most successful sites. Blackhat methods to gain more visitors (and therefore more clicks) are avalaible on here in significant numbers - just hit search.
Having a decent plan and the desire to do something with it will stand you in good stead! good luck.
