Selecting proxy ips.

I can't decide how to select proxies...

Please help me understanding -

1. How to make sure that the IP has not been used for accessing social media platforms like Youtube and FB before?

2. How to make sure that FB or YT accounts was not terminated on that IP previously? I don't want to buy a proxy IP, log into the account and within sometime get banned -_-

Someone said there are many sellers who are not genuine who sells datacenter craps by packaging as isp proxies or something. I read that a company like IP Royal has crap proxies and google banned couple of proxy providers.

3. I want to be the only one to use the proxy. I don't want any other user using that IP and accessing YT and FB. Do I go for Static residential proxies?

Some people say mobile proxies are better but mobile proxies are rotating right? How will platform like YT, FB trust rotating proxies? I want for long term.

4. Lets say I like a proxy IP quality. Can I continue to renew yearly and keep that IP?

5. How can I find unused proxy IPs?

only thing that works long term is your own home ip, or mobile.
 
Mobile proxies usually work best for social media since platforms already expect IP rotation from mobile networks. However, proxies alone don’t prevent bans, bans are mostly triggered by inconsistency and non-human behavior.

If you want exclusive usage, avoid shared pools and go for private and dedicated proxies.

Thing is not all providers are genuine, this is where the problem is :/

honestly most of the answers to your questions come down to one thing - you're always trusting the provider to some degree. there's no way to independently verify if an ip was used on FB or YT before.

that said, here's what actually helps in practice: go with a provider that offers virgin ISP proxies and explicitly states they're unshared. ask them about subnet history not just the individual ip. for long term use, static residential or ISP proxies are the move since you can typically renew and keep the same ip indefinitely.

mobile proxies are great for trust score but the rotation is actually a feature not a bug - platforms like FB and YT are used to seeing mobile ips rotate because that's how real carrier networks work (CGNAT). so it doesn't look suspicious the way a rotating datacenter ip would.

for your use case of long-term management on YT and FB with exclusive use, i'd go static ISP proxies. test with a throwaway account first and if the ip is clean you're good to lock it in.

Bro honestly nobody can guarantee an IP was never used or banned before safest thing is getting a dedicated static residential/ISP proxy so you’re the only one using it. I’d avoid shared proxies and random cheap sellers repackaging datacenter IPs.

And tbh FB/YT care about way more than just the IP too, browser fingerprint and account behavior matter a lot.
 
You're gonna want clean residential ips, no question. datacenter proxies are a death sentence for those platforms. static residential is your best bet for dedicated use, especially for long-term accounts. mobile proxies are usually rotating, which is a red flag for social media unless you're running some really sophisticated rotation strategy, which sounds like overkill for your goal. keeping an ip long-term is possible with static residential but it's a premium service. finding truly unused ips is tough, you're basically relying on the provider's sourcing and quality control
 
There's no reliable way to prove an IP has never touched YouTube or Facebook before.
I'd focus on consistency rather than chasing a "virgin" IP - stable sessions, realistic behavior, and keeping the same identity over time usually matter more than finding a magically unused address.

Overall it's a perfect illustration of why, before you start building your setup, you need to spend one damn working day and very carefully google the topic / talk it through with an AI.
Without doing your own analysis, OP won't even be able to make sense of the answers above. it's a mix of good reasonable stuff and bs all together.

And if you don't feel like digging into it, there's only one right answer to all the questions: go with a genuinely expensive provider. That won't guarantee anything, but it seriously boosts your odds on quality. And on that provider's support actually bothering to answer your questions, heh.

Most of these things aren’t really something you can verify or guarantee. You can’t reliably know if an IP was previously used on YouTube or Facebook, or whether it was linked to a banned account. Proxy IPs are reused and rotated within provider pools, so “clean history” isn’t something that’s usually trackable. For exclusivity, dedicated or static residential proxies are the closest option, but even those don’t guarantee the IP was never used before. In practice, it’s less about finding a “never-used” IP and more about using a stable setup and consistent account behavior.
