I've been working for an ecommerce store owner since last year. When I began working it was just a starter website and then we slowly developed that site to money site by doing seo and paid ads.

The site got hit during the last google update and it's going down since then. No sign of improving

This guy was paying me well so I kept working for him. Everything was fine until the site got hit.

Now he is not the same person as he used to be. Abusing behavior, using swear words often. At one point I felt like that I am a slave for him.

I had hope that he will change his behavior but day by day it's getting worst. Still he pays me well.

What I have to do in this situation? I should stop working for him? what's your advice to me as a friend? Keen to read your replies.

This is what happens when you are doing SEO full-time for someone else, personally, I don't but I know many people here who have talked about this in the past.

When a client's site gets hit they will always blame you since you are in charge of the SEO and it always comes down to you and not for Google updates (in their eyes). You need to get used to it.

Still he thinks I am the only reason
They are venting to you because they cannot reach anyone from the big G so like I said, get used to or switch the client.

Not sure how they are paying you but make sure they don't charge back on you for the services as some people will definitely go that route as it seems they are building up a case against you.

It's all about money, so try your best to get it, especially in this recession, finding a stable job is not easy.
