I want to start selling on Etsy but my country is not eligible for some reason.
I have a UK bank account so I can perfectly start selling if I just find the VPN/proxy solution to safely change my location without looking suspicious.
I did some research and I even tried Brightdata proxy. It takes too much data and it's too expensive + they told me proxies of that kind are less private and usually used for scraping. They suggest I use VPN, but as you guys know, VPNs can be easily flagged as data centers.

Can someone doing something similar help me with a solution, please?

I would appreciate any insights!

You can use 4G mobile proxies as they will work absolutely fine for managing the Etsy. Make sure to get a trial and test properly before purchasing a subscription.

you should try buying an Etsy account
it's not too expensive

Mobile or residential proxies will work just fine for this usage as long as their IPs aren't blacklisted. If configured correctly you should look indistinguishable to Etsy compared to a normal seller in the country the proxies are hosted.

You'll also want to avoid leaking your IP when you're up and running whether that be whilst using the Etsy app or browser - having your IP jumping to a non-eligible country will not do anything for your account credibility in Etsy's eyes.

I would try with a static residential proxy in the UK first and if it doesn’t work I would look for a 4g mobile proxy.

Whatever you do, don't use a VPN. Use residential proxies instead

While using a VPN or proxy to change your location may seem like a solution, it's important to be cautious as Etsy may detect this and suspend your account for violating their terms of service.

take a look at ResVPN.net

Residential VPNs IPs, 3G/4G/LTE/WIFI Connections. Not datacenters! on real users devices.

UDP support, DNS thru bots (no public dns) and many more featuers.
