Seeking for advice! :)

Hello BHW, I discovered this forum about a year ago and read alot here back then. I made a site and was running it successfully, also making some money. After some months my site was taken down together with youtube video that was providing traffic and I gave up a little bit. Now I'm back and I think I want to learn something different so I'm thinking about designs. I'm really hungry for knowledge so I'm looking for any informations that will help me start out with this. Was looking around this site (www.designcrowd_com) and looks like alot of people is asking for LOGOs and other type of design so that really kepps me motivated. Would be glad to recive any answers for any of this questions:
- What software should I use to produce the quality of logos that is required on like site mentioned before?
- Do I need any starting investment?
- How long does it takes to learn basics and then to continue till i have enough knowledge of making quality logos?
- Any guides?

There's a bunch of software you can learn. Photoshop is probably your best bet and once you have decent photoshop skills you can monetise them easily!

Can anyone tell me what specific should I learn after I learn the basics, like Logos making web design, .. ?

Basically they're almost the same except some different things (don't know sure what since I've never used illustrator, only Photoshop)

You have to do both. I first started doing logos, but this isn't enough.. You need to start doing kind of everything in this domain

One of the important difference is that, that when you make logo 10x10cm in photoshop, later can not resize the logo to 20x20 cm that you don't lose quality, in illustrator do not lose any quality, you can have logo 10x10 cm and from this smal logo you can make 1x1 m without losing any pixel.

Logo or anything else you can draw with hand on paper, than scan this image and from that you can make the same vector wich you can draw with hand.

The best way is combination Illustrator + Photoshop
