[Seeking BST ADVICE] For Local Marketing Website

Hello!

I run a local web design firm and we are currently expanding to include SEO and development.

I am decent with SEO know-how but not exactly ranking local websites, so i am here to get the best help from BHW experts!

Originally yes i came from BHW and learned all about websites etc!

Im trying to figure out what kind of BST i should use for Long term local ranking.

5 Months old - No Backlinking Done (besides PR Article)
10 + Pages


I was thinking i should either go with HIGH PR links or 301 Redirects..but i may be horribly wrong. I know that niche related websites will be the best but i won't get that without some serious cash or connections..

If you guys have any experience with using BST's for local ranking and could point me in the right direction that would be great!

Neither, in my opinion.

To rank for local isn?t really difficult, if you have an offline street address and phone number.

First get yourself some free citations; submissions in a few high quality local business directories

Then submit your business information on a few video, photo and social sites (also free if you do it yourself).

Thereafter aim a decent tier 2 service to these links.

Thereafter play the waiting game; you should get decent local rankings.

If you can?t do it yourself look in the BH Seo link building thread, there is a decent service that you can use?

If you want to go the PBN route you?ll only need a few good domains. Don?t 301 them, rather place contextual links on their home pages.

get some normal basic link building done first like bookmarks, directory submission , some social and then move on to bigger things link pbn's and 301 redirects. For Local business as dieasel1 said get citations & (google place listing) i know its a pain in ss but its very important for local business seo. Understand the genre of your business and use social platforms like facebook and pinterst to get target audience. what ever you do just dont do in bulk go slow and steady.

Can't i buy really strong links anywhere on the BST's for local website? I only need like 1-3 don't i?

Problem is i do not have a physical location yet...but i plan too. It would still help if i can rank somewhere!

Just use the same methods as you would rank a none local site, if you don't care about Google places you don't need citations just good backlinks.
