    Hi black hatters,

Well, I'm a noob and I admit it! :) At this moment I'm participating on the 30 Day Challenge and I've been learning a lot there regarding seo and other things.
Some days ago, they told is to create a blog and I did it and then to promote it - we've been writing articles and solcial marking them, building a squidoo lens, a hubpage and of course, creating backlinks.

My question is this, which other ways can I follow to rank #1 on google? I picked a keyword with less than 30'000 competitors for the phrase match and 200+ searches a day.

A temporary way to get #1 on google is:

    1) Go to Google Trends and see which main topic they are showing for a couple of days.

    2) Write an article that is about that same topic and make it keyword rich, using many of the keywords used in the articles that Google links to for that topic.

    3) Put your article on your index page and metatag with relative keywords, and if you do it right, you'll probably end up #1 or close to it through organic results. But this will only last until Google Trends switches focus to a new topic.

    Cheers! - "Wiz"

That's good info. I'll keep this for now because I do want to occupy the first spot on google. That's actually the objective right now on the 30DC.

Still, you're idea could be very useful to apply in some other projects of mine. Thanks WizGizmo

    More ideas then?
