Seeking a Plugin...(image gallery)

Anyone know of a WP plugin for a nice gallery similar to how http://visual.ly/ is laid out?

Not looking for a gallery/portfolio theme...would like to turn a WP page into a gallery like visual.ly - where you can click on "show more" and more continue to be displayed without directing the user to another gallery page - also each gallery image directs the user to a dedicated page when clicked.

I have tried a few dozen options and I am just not happy with what I have found.

Any suggestions would be appreciated...might help uncover one I have not tried yet.
