Seeing US ads on FYP while in Europe

I have been using one US sim card for a really long time (about 1yr). And in that time, I have not seen any US ads pop up on my FYP until yesterday. I do not know how its possible because I have only seen ads when I have gone abroad to another country where tiktok ads are available. And even then I only saw abroad country ads.

Has anyone experienced this as well?

What can it mean?

I am seeing USA adds in my country even though it should not be possible with only a USA sim card. I have not done anything else than use USA sim and VPN.

It is interesting cause I was told that there is no way for me to see USA ads even if I really wanted to. But now it happened. I am just shocked.

Tiktok must have changed something...
