    Hi guys,

Need a bit of advice on securing a VPS running Windows Server 2008 R2 for use with GSA, Scrapebox, SENukeX etc

I know of the usual tweaks like strong passwords etc - but what AV / Firewall are you using or is a firewall overkill - I have Microsoft Security Essentials installed along with Windows Firewall is this enough or should I combine it with MalwareBytes?

    Any suggestions appreciated!

    TIA

Microsoft security essentials are good enough to protect Windows VPS, and if you install third party security system on your vps machine, then it will disable the default Micosoft security system..

Anyway, you can use ClamAV, AVG, or Nortan anti-virus to secure your Windows VPS, as they come up with Firewall option.
