Secure Video Hosting

Hello all.

I'm looking for a video hosting platform where I'd be able to securely host videos. It should be similar to like dropbox or Google Drive, or Mega, though, I would like that my customers/users would be able to watch video content within the platform, rather than downloading it.

Though, dropbox, etc. wouldn't work since they are not secure enough for me (I don't want that my name nor my details appear in the platform and that users will see that). In other words - looking for "offshore" type of hosting.

Any suggestions?

Upload them to YouTube as Private/Unlisted status?

Thanks for the answer! Though, I forgot to mention DMCA thing... Would be to cool that the video(s) wouldn't get down because of DMCA notices.

I don't really like YT because it stole my traffic.

perhaps you can look for platform such as wistia/vimeo?

That is hard. You will need a dedicated server and install a player in it. Or using a script

it really depends on how u wanna go about it with money
u can get sibisoft software(whichll cost you about $2000-3000) or just go a simpler way with creating a website, embed videos(netu, gounlimited, etc) but make website private and that'd be the cheapest easiest way

Thank you all for your suggestions! I will check them all!

Basically, I'm looking to host video files that are sort of movie streaming site idea, but not with movies. Therefore, looking for a ways to host those files somewhere.

From what I can see, I might just go with any file storage site and be ready to re-upload files somewhere else upon removal.

maybe consider self-hosted server? you can host files on your machine and give your users access to files via webbrowser

I do not know if that is what you need, but you can check Patreon. Only subscribed users there can have access to the videos.

You mentioned DMCA claims protection & offshore, so try searching for ISP outside the US jurisdiction. In Europe, it can be Ukraine, Russia, Bulgaria, etc.
Also, take a closer look at how they act after receiving DMCA notices. If they shut your server down immediately without even getting the proof, it's not a good sign.
