I am simply amazed by your work
If there is enough interest I will make a similar analysis for iOS, cheers.a lot of data to analyze, give some ideas of what to develop
what about iOS, do you have any data on it too?
Thanks for the info, Gonna work for my niche now!
It may have some kind of bias, but it is difficult to know since there is no access to all the data all the time and the number of apps is changing constantly, I don't remember to have done any kind of filter, maybe I filtered the data that was incomplete or duplicated I honestly can't remember the average price in the financial apps is $170 because that same category have the most expensive apps (around $400 per app) so that price tag pushes the upper limit for the average price. Thanks for sharing such an insightful analysis. I'm wondering if the data set itself has some kind of bias? Are the 1.000 apps randomly selected? I tried checking the source, but I don't understand it very much. Looks like the data set has 10.000 apps, did you do some initial filter? And last question... the average price of $170 per app in the financial category sounds like a bit too much? I'm wondering what it would like if you also removed apps that are too expensive (higher than $90). Thanks again mate.
