I tried this a while back on a few sites, none were ever listed. They were no spamy sites either. Owell can't hurt to try and keep trying

If you look at the number of sites listed in the directories when the video was made and the number of sites now, they are pretty similar. Infact, some numbers are even lower.
Therefore, saying it's easy to get listed and 'every single one of my friends got their link listed in a week' is overcofidence, if not foolishness.
