My BHW Study & Ideas : To keep real services in Market Place Section

Buyers - > Ordering service, based on what seller advertised in the sales Page.
Sellers - > Selling service, based on what promised in his sales Page.

I heard "As there are hundreds of MOD application submitted per month"

Why don't BHW hire as many Secret MOD or Secret MOD in Training Position ?
Of course, Some members will be interested / willing to work as a volunteer!

Role of Secret MOD :

- Reviewing sales thread as a buyer &
- Reporting to the Admin / other Section MODS &
- No one Knows they are Secret MOD until Admin Announces.


Why Secret MOD ?

Market Place threads approved by MOD - That's a Great system! So, Every Seller provide high quality service greater than what promised to MODS - I Bet!

This is because of 3 reasons :

1. They are Moderator.
2. They need to Approve thread.
3. Because of MOD positive feedback.

then, they keep running sales thread without any fear of a MOD.. #True
No fear about they can't sell service as advertised.. #True

If they have fear in mind like "Some secret MOD will be roaming here & they review service at anytime"
then seller will either provide service as promised or intimate MODS about the changes if any or Keeps their sales thread Updated to provide service as described.

Why i Meant " they can't provide service as advertised"

To be Honest : Yes, After some months of thread approval - they can't provide services as described!

Reason being :

If PBN Service based on PA / DA / CF / TF - Nothing will be Permanent - PA / DA / CF / TF values will increases / decreases on every Google Updates - Then Imagine how seller could sell service as advertised ?

So, There needs to be silent BHW Moderators, who review service often as a normal Buyers & if their service is not advertised as promised, then the sales thread will be Rejected / closed.

This helps Market Place Section - "Safe for Buyers" & "challenging for Sellers"

For Buyers - Getting things, What advertised.
For sellers - Selling things, What Promised.

This is just a example..

I'm the example of the seller, who agree "Not advertised as Promised"

One of my sales thread based on PR Guest posting, which runs over the years as promised & after google Updates no longer PR - I can't provide the service as promised.

One of my other sales thread based on PA / DA PBN, which runs over the months & Suddenly after DA updates (can't provide blogs on DA 20+ or something..)

As there are Plenty of sellers, plenty of PR, DA based services - So how about others ?
Same Examples..

Only Real Services could survive On Market Place.
That's what BHW wants
That's What Buyers wants &
That's What Real service providers wants!


P.S : This Idea Strikes me when i came across the thread "Don't Buy service in Market place"

It's Just an Idea! - Admin members has to be decide!

Let me know your suggestions / Feedback! As there are lots of volunteers who looking to help the community - Maybe this idea might be cool for other sections too - I guess!

Thats a sweet idea but I see a few problems arising with whom to choose and the amount of power and potential to abuse that gives to the selected member.
What I propose instead is: Random Check
A mod checks the completed order of a random member and if the order isn't the same/close enough to the order provided to the mod, the thread gets closed- simple, easy, painless.

I'd thought about something like this, in the past, but there may far too many grey areas. I believe such a thing could be possible, but it would need to be done very carefully.

I think its a great idea and infact I've seen similar methods used on other forums like this one successfully.. just depends on the person! Good thread OP thanks for the read.

If buyers just left honest reviews like mods ask them to there would be no need for this.

- We already have an lovel "S"list . Where moderators take care of such scams.

One of my other sales thread based on PA / DA PBN, which runs over the months & Suddenly after DA updates (can't provide blogs on DA 20+ or something..)

- If you can't provide it and you advertise it then .. you will be shamed in the "S"list and ofc banned. That is happening with every single false advertising.


That's What Real service providers wants!
I try to image how random folks are messing with our services as hosting provider


Regarding everything else, we already have the "Report user " "Report thread" system wich is a big hamburger for all kids around.

How can buyers know what the seller gave to the mod?
For all they know, they are getting the 'best' service.

I think OP have a good idea and gave nice suggestion, Of course BHW will be more secure and sales thread will be delivering highest quality services coz of secret mods.

If a buyer is not happy they should tell people about the issues they faced. What the mod got makes no difference.

If you have a bad experience, share it.

BHW let's people sell for $30 on here. Where is the money going to come from to let people secretly buy $XXX SEO services?

Many of the older, more experienced members do this anyway, all help to keep the site clean and safe

Your don't understand me: A mod gets the best the seller can offer and leaves a stunning review.
The seller than goes on and brands the same service but does 50% of the initial work they did on their mod order.
The buyer thinks he is getting THE SAME service as the MOD that reviewed it.
Catch my point?

You know how the Marketing is working right? Like.. OP can't edit manually his thread. If he change something which have to do with the quality of the service it will be reviewed again.

I think it's a good idea, let BHW run as a trial. We get a clear picture of its pros and cons. Then it's upto BHW.

I 100% agree that we need a progressive action to speed up.

I order quite alot of services here on BHW, TBH not even half of them deliver what they state on the BST, what pisses me off is the part where they say we will not be providing reports to keep the network safe so for a buyer like me who order 3-4 services at the same its hard to find which seller made which links.

providing screenshots should be compulsory things, trust me google isn't coming here to buy your services to expose your networks. They have a algo to find shitty link shcmes.

It doesn't metter . You are paying to have open sales thread not to scam others. No one from the moderators is so cheap to keep scam thread for that 30 $

Yes and No..

But again we are coming back to what Ste Fishkin said "If a buyer is not happy they should tell people about the issues they faced."

e.g if a provider promose unlimited everything or DMCA ignoring or whatever and he don't then is YOU who will have to report that and of course get help by moderator for possible refund of your money!

Regarding the shitlist, there a lot and i say a lot that get scammed or dont receive what promised but dont shitlist ( i did sometimes) it's their fault for not shitlist? maybe but i think its a good idea if some mod or someone else review at random. less shitlist and more honest seller

I guess you missed the part where i said, how can you keep tracks of links were even made as they don't really show up on majestic or any other crawlers and webmaster tool is lazy as hell.
