Second wave of IG clean up?

Anyone noticing another wave of IG clean up over the past two days?

Seems like we are in for another wave of deleting bots accounts and whatnot on IG. Just did a quick check on accounts like Lady Gaga and yep loosing followers.

My social blade numbers are down maybe 30% on the usual daily gain. This might be due to having the fake accounts deleted but I can't help but feel the past two days have also been "slow".

Anyone noticing any of these?

Yes, we discussed it here on BHW. Been happening since about 1-2 weeks.
 
Yeah! Absolutely I saw the thread when it started to happen but I thought it was done. I guess they are doing it in waves opposed to all together

Yes!! Glad Im not the only one that noticed that.. its been slow for the past 2 days.
 
Yes I noticed it as well, my large account keeps getting banned/deactivated and even once I recover deactivate it again a few days later.. These updates are killing me! Has anyone else been deactivated by mistake recently?

Yes it sure has. I'm all about them deleting the fake accounts specially since they are limiting reach so much I'll rather have real users see my content. Worried about the slowness of the past two days though
 
Yes I'm having trouble with all my IG accounts, mostly with likes. I'm not sure whats going on with IG but I've been using a like bot and I turned it off until i can figure out what they are doing. Any insight?

What do you mean? Lower amount of likes than usual?
 
hmm yes one 11k account got banned. Bad to hear it. But you just have to continue

Yes way lower than usual...it started last November and I have been falling and falling. Started at 400+ like (I have almost 8k followers) and now I'm down to maybe 100 if I'm lucky. I turned off my liker bot (even though it was a really slow one) and reverted back to a personal account and unlinked my fb page.
 
I think it the norm know , there sending/ using there own bots to delete bot accounts .

The account verify process is done in many stages in my opionon

Account email
Account profile picture
Account profile bio
Following a thu users
Like a thu users

If that not done all above i suspect account get flagged.....

That why i keep telling ppl to create the account maker bot correctly , if you dont do profile pic and bio and select a thu followings and do a couple likes each made account, your bot account will get deleted easy as that ....

No one lessons till it to late .

All my big accounts are moving very slow , but i fill fake accounts are useless i need real users to increase sales....
 
I have just had the slowest overnight follower gain in months..... man is gonna be a dry day.... but why?

I'm concerned about why the follow rate is dropping. Can't be based just in bot accounts getting deleted. There must be something else going on
 
i see some guys saying that it can be also your proxys. Like subnet or something. Check if there are no footprints left. One footprint. All your accounts will be gone .

You are most probably shadowbanned, meaning you are only visible to your followers, but not under hashtags you are posting.

You may want to check if your posts are appearing under hashtags you post. Check when you are logged out or with an account that is not following your account.

If that is the case the cure should be to temporarily deactivate the account for 2 weeks.

A lot of people have been saying that when they temporarily deactivate their account, they have issues with reactivating it. Is this still an issue?

It was never an issue, you don't need to reactivate anything, the first time you log in again your account is alive like never happened. You will just have fewer followers than before because some of them will unfollow you in the meantime, just like when your account is alive.

If you search some threads you'll see it was an issue back in March when ig started sweeping a lot of accounts, users weren't able to log in after deactivating their pages. Glad it's no longer a problem for users
 
I just checked, (I created a new account) and I am definitely shadowbanned. Terrible. Guess I'll be deactivating for 2 weeks!
