If I set up a second paypal - for say my friend / family member -- and then use their email adress / bank acc - is this safe ?
obviously cos I know them they dont mind + they never do any IM stuff

I mean paypal will be none the wiser -that im using their adress as long as i use it for white hat stuff like selling a service here or elsewhere - and not something against their TOS --
how would they know its me and not my bro ?

I have read a paypal book or 2 about getting a second acc and they say pp will check everything ip how long your signed n etc patterns like this ---

as long as I keep everything seperate -like 2 ebay accs 2 fiveer's - as far as I can see theres no fucking way they can tell its me typing and not my bro -- even if i had my account open and his acc open at the same time on the same ip -- so what-
i wont do this but it shows the point -- they dont know hes singing in or not -- their whole trust sytem is based in the fact you have to go though a bank to get it setup -- and banks are v secure

what are your expert thoughts pls

I actually have three pp accounts and have had them for over 2 years and one for longer, and have never had any problems with them. Just use your new account like your brother would, different IP, etc. Sounds like you understand, and everything you wrote above, I would say you know what you are doing.

It is totally safe, I have multiple Paypal as well. Just make sure it is not on the same ip being used over and over.

they dont track IPs.

Long story short ive ran tests and proved they dont block people who use the same IP after being limited

What they do consider is bank a/c, credit cards and ebay a/cs

how would PayPal know I have a household computer and both my dad, mom, and I use it and have different PayPals and Bank Accounts?

my brother and I have both PP account on the same IP and he even sometimes use my laptop to log in his account, I dont see anything wrong as long as you dont do fraud.

PayPal doesn't jump when it's just one thing such as sharing the same IP, unless one PayPal account is in debt.

You can set up your own by changing your name and information. From Stephen, you can become Steven, and PayPal doesn't care. Then it would be best to use a P.O. box or another address such as a dropbox. A local place rents out mailboxes, so to PayPal, my address is:

1671 Walnut St #3 (my box number)
Oskaloosa, IA, 52881
United States

Which is the actual address of the box, not my real address. I can and will receive mail there just fine. (by the way, this is not an actual address)

Of course, my bank account is just a new bank account.

When and if PayPal ever asks for your social security number, give them a fake one. A certian percentage will come up as "Incorrect Social" - this is because they want you to call them and tell them the social, so that they not only have your phone number, but also because they can have the social security number manually input into their system. PayPal has NO WAY OF CONFIRMING A SOCIAL.

This is not illegal, as PayPal is not an actual financial institution and/or bank. However, this rule will change sometime within the next year.

Yeah I can't imagine there would be a problem unless your doing SHADY-SHIT man.
I mean seriously everyone has a PP acct nowadays and it's not unlikely to see multiple people from any given family all having their own separate accts. using a central family computer as well.

I would have to say so long as your not doing anything you shouldn't be doing, there should be no problems and you'll be absolutely fine.

i think paypal allowed people to have 2 paypal accounts only. 1 personal acc and 1 business acc. correct me if i wrong!

Ive had 12 accounts in the past year premier accounts, problems was with alot of payments recieved and just recently set up a business account..

Business accounts are much better but I had to submit alot of Info as I have had those other accounts in the past few months..

My advice would if your expecting alot of payments or larger payments just go straight for a business account

I have to post in pieces because my full post exceeds the moderation limit -

Paypal is legally a banking institution, it has to be a bank to do the things they do. They don't work like a bank, so they will not give you any information about account numbers etc. if you ask them, and it is obvious from the way they moved their official business centre from UK to Luxembourg a few years back that they don't like questions about the way they operate their service.

Paypal don't like people to have more than one account, and technically it is against their rules. But if you set up a second account on your business address, they will not question it - they will check that the addresses you give for the bank account and credit card are registered to the business address, and verify the telephone number.

If you have bank accounts in more than one country, they will insist that you set up a second account for a "foreign" bank.
In Europe, English banks charge through the nose for cash transfers to foreign banks, but European banks do not, which is why I found out what to do in those circumstances. It makes life easier when selling on eBay into Europe.

Of course, if you are a US citizen you are only allowed to use a foreign bank if you are working outside the US.

In countries where institutions can access the national databases, like Germany, they ask for your ID / SS number when you register, and there is no easy way to get a second Paypal account without telling a lie.

A word on the side about Paypal protection - mostly, it does not operate across national boundaries, but it does work across the frontiers for UK, US and Canada - Paypal protection is in place, for what it is worth, on international deals.
Most people don't realise the UK is also in that group.

why is pay pal and money pack still selling money paks to add funds to ones pal account when the pay pay pal feature has conectivity problems. this is outrageous when you want to send deadline payments your srewed.i hope people will read this.thank you, frustated money pak user.

As long as you do white hat stuff and make sure that you don't give a hint about your other account. You are good. But if by any chance you are caught. Then they'll make sure that you are done with your money forever. So you need to be a bit careful while dealing with paypal.

I am not sure, but paypal allows 1 business account & 1 basic account.correct me if i am wrong
