Thinking about Second Life to utilize as a source of traffic for my sites. Been there years ago for some video business but left because most people there simply just don't want to pay a reasonable price for a work.
So the question is, is it worth to place inworld advertisements to my business or sites, or better to avoid it?
Any insights would be helpful :)

You should work again ...if you didn't get positive result first time it doestn't means you get fail on second attempt... So should give second chance to yourself..

Traffic in Second Life – how does it work? ... Linden introduced “traffic” or “dwell” as a way to reward residents who create popular locations. Each night a pool of $L is paid out to landowners in proportion to the number of avatars visiting and the amount of time spent on any of their parcels

Sounds like a heaven for campers. But traffic is inworld traffic and not converting to external traffic that leads out of SL to a real website. I might be wrong though.

I was there for a couple of months when sites like Fiverr were not around. Also big companies like IBM just decided to leave at that time, so practically cheapskate Consumer business remained.
