I Think they need to stop running away and just start working with the fed, at least a little. For the most part, their regulations are intended to keep bad actors from screwing people over. I get people don't want KYC going on but as long as my funds are safe I'm happy. Thoughts?

Isn't btc is meant to be unregulated currency? Regardless, even with the fed it'll could takes years for btc to be mainstream.

Im 100% against any and all gov involvement in anything. For example one gov officials can't figure out what google is... now you would want these idiots to ruin crypto? I prepare a blockchain solution for fraud prevention, if not yet one will arise sooner or later.

As I understand it, Coinbase is in constant communication with the Feds. They are trying to push heavily for regulation of the markets, which includes establishing new rules and guidelines for all exchanges to operate within. Of course this would help Coinbase from a business standpoint. Like they are making billions already. Their CEO is going already a billionaire in just few years. But this regulation would probably solidify the crypto markets as something that's here to stay (in the eyes of the gov), and possibly bring in a lot of wall street money.

The flip side of course, is having gov involved is exactly what crypto purists don't want. Personally, I like crypto the way it is now. Volatile and wild west.
