Searching @ mentions

I think it would be awesome to be able to search @ mentions, so for example you can search a competitor and find all the people talking about them or giving them shoutouts etc.

Does anyone know if it is possible to search/track @ mentions? I had a look around, and the only things I could find were articles from 3+ years ago saying basically "no, you would have to manually scrape every single post on Instagram". Is this still the case? Or has instagram released some support for this in their api??

mention.com should do this, I suppose they have a free trial.

Loads of social listening - Hootsuite, various Twitter tools, Klout, social mention, icerocket google alerts, talkwalker, buzzsumo , mention, bottlenose - if they ever release it publically again. ETC All the best
