I know on Twitters search you put in a search word to find other people who are supposedly interested in the same niche but what I'm getting is tons of bullshit.
For example, let's say I want to promote adult dating. If I put "adult" in the search or "adult dating" or whatever, all I'm getting is results of people who have used those keywords in the tweets. I could get granny in Florida who has a tweet about her adult grandkids visiting.

How do we search for people that are really interested in our particular niche?

one way would be to use twitter's api and create your own search tool. just don't have the time to write that app....

try twellow, it's a directory of people in twitter, but not sure if there's an adult category there.

try...
Code:
www.wefollow.com

the only problem is people add themselves to the wefollow list. the good news is they tag themselves they way they want.

Seriously

Seems to me it would be tough to find the right people. You probably often finding people that are trying to do the same thing as you (posing).

You could try the new adobe air platform search program by yahoo called sideline

get it here: h**p://sideline.yahoo.com/
