Searching Facebook for a person using only name?

Will give 3 possible reasons.
1. Either the person limits their visibility search in their settings
2. Or they have changed the name you thought you new then for
3. Or you were blocked you

Finding someone on Facebook by name is difficult these days because many people use fake names, hide their information, or use Facebook just to stalk them rather than interact publicly. Even if you have the right name, you may not see them if Facebook’s algorithm doesn’t suggest it, or if their account is restricted to strangers.

You can check other social platforms using the name, you might get him from there. If you know the people he follows, search those profiles for friend lists, comments, and likes. Hidden profiles often appear in other people’s public interactions.

You can search by simply asking him to send you a link to his personal page, or search for his name by facebook filter - location - work - school. If your current facebook account can't find him, try another facebook account.

OSINT tools can help, but results often depend on how much public information is available. Sometimes adding filters like city, workplace, or mutual connections makes the search more accurate.

First, try regular search engines. Use Google with their full name in quotes, plus 'Facebook' and 'India' or their specific city. Sometimes profiles get indexed even if Facebook's internal search doesn't show them easily.

i think no matter the tools you're going to use, if the person sets privacy to not appear publicly, then it'll be tough through the tools, instead search the mutual friend manually and going through this procedure could be beneficial
