This website has been live for a little over 90 days.

I've been indexing manually through Google Search Console and now I'm at 100+ articles.

Everything has been perfectly fine and I haven't used any shady tactics/strategy that could cause any penalization.

Can anyone take a look and provide a little advice and guidance?

As you can see, the valid pages are all of my articles/categories that were indexed. It shows valid on GSC.

And then I headed to Google to type in site:mysite.com and it shows 50.

About a month ago, it was showing 70. A few days ago it showed 60, and now it's back to 50 again.

I just want to make sure that I'm not doing anything wrong.

Thank you BHW!

GSC showing valid means that URLs present in your sitemap...if domain is completely new it will take some time to get index even if you do manual indexing...so do proper interlinking to increase your crawl budget, so whenever google come to your site it will crawl all the post at once...

Thanks for asking this question.
I am having same issue with my website also. But the difference is I have not manual submission on Webmaster.
Therefore It shows 111 valid pages and checking on google it shows only 4 :suspicious:
Even for working on SEO for many years I still think I am yet to understand Google's behavior.

It's common for Google to show different amount of pages every day. Nothing to worry about.

Sometimes the number of results don’t match the pages shown in the serps, there are cases where it says there are around 100 results (for example) but stops showing results after page 2.

As far as I know, this is a common bug, so relax about it. Google fucked up itself.

It's a common "bug" but definitely something to be worried about. If your site shows only 4 results with the site:mysite.com command your website is most likely absolutely fucked. Check your mobile usability section in GSC, you'll see that a steep drop off in pages that are mobile friendly, even if you didn't change anything on your site. Also, you'll most likely have all your pages moved from submitted and indexed to indexed, not submitted in sitemap.

When this started happening to me I went from 5k daily visitors from Google to only 100 per day. There's no known fix for this problem and Google denies anything is wrong. It's most likely some filter that the algorithm has placed on your site.

Reasonable, I have no idea, I also see other people claimed 4 indexed page thing, however, my own website is a black hat site with a lot of pages, its been 3 + months but still only indexed a very tiny parts of pages, I assume its because of this, no idea but mostly, I guess Google now identify spam pages much better than before.

Ahh.. so you're saying something is wrong with it?

As far as I know, I haven't done any shady tactics. I feel like I'm on the right track for everything but the site:website.com is messing with my head! aha
