My search campaigns are fine, but display campaigns have low impressions despite huge budget. How to balance both?

Search and Display are completely different audiences; don’t compare them directly.

Try reducing display targeting scope; broad targeting kills impressions sometimes.

Adjust bidding per network, Display often needs lower CPC to compete.

Display campaigns often need more refined targeting—try adjusting placements, interests, or exclusions, and balance the budget with a higher bid on display if impressions are too low.

For Display, try refining your targeting or increasing your bids slightly—Display traffic can be picky, so broadening your audience or using different placements might help.

Display campaigns need tighter targeting—try refining your audience and placements, or shift budget to more engaged segments to boost impressions.

Sounds like your display campaigns might not be optimized well—check targeting, frequency caps, and bidding strategies. Balancing both comes down to refining your display settings and adjusting for better reach.

Does your ad serve only one country? Have you checked your targeting and demographic settings? Check which Google networks your display ads are active on. If you need help, you can reply to this message.

Try refining your targeting for display campaigns, use broader audience segments, and adjust bids to increase visibility, while ensuring your search campaigns remain optimized for high-quality traffic.

Search impression share only counts search network, display traffic doesn’t affect it, so don’t mix the two.

Search and Display work differently, try separate budgets and audiences because display needs time and proper targeting.

If you look at the things you are doing in your search campaigns that are giving you results, replicate the same in your display campaign (in terms of quality)
