Search help please

So it's been three weeks since I first established my site and yesterday was my all time high traffic volume of 143. I feel like I'm working hard enough to get the traffic, but I'm hardly getting any from the search engines. Even when I search my targeted keyword for my niche, nothing comes up and I'm labled as "unranked". I must be doing something wrong OR maybe it takes longer to get any type of rank on google on a set keyword.

Any advice would be appreciated. I will answer any questions you have for me as thouroughly as possible!

No site will rank good after three weeks. Give it a few months, and you'll see the difference.
