I want to sell vintage watches in the usa. Which type of Instagram account should I choose? My personal suggestion is that accounts have targets with my products and those instagram accounts have many real followers, of real users.
If anyone here knows a plan or an idea for my business product, please help me with more suggestions. I'm very grateful for that

If you’re already getting conversions, don’t risk the whole channel chasing fake engagement. A light push ,like cold outreach or testing views from safer sources ,can help. But anything aggressive, like spammy comments, might trip filters. Better to focus on retention metrics ,that’s what really drives lasting results.

-So for example, I buff followers for my channel to create more trust for customers should not be right? But it must work in a very natural way
-Since the time of creating an account, how long will it take for me to be able to run ads is the best. Help me

Do you have alternate instagram account ? Don't risk your personal one. Instagram is very unpredictable these days.
Buy an old instagram account from marketplace from a reliable supplier , warm up and start your selling.
Old instagram also has ads running feature which you can use it to run ads for your product

You should use an Instagram Business account to run ads and access insights. Consider partnering with vintage/luxury-themed pages with real followers. Focus your content on the story and value behind each watch – that type of content usually attracts genuine collectors.

Use a Business Instagram account for analytics, ad access, and trust signals; grow by posting high-quality vintage watch content with niche hashtags, engaging with collectors, running targeted ads to U.S. watch enthusiasts, and optionally buying a vetted aged account with a real U.S. follower base to boost early visibility and sales credibility.

You’ll want to switch to an Instagram Business account from day one—only a Business profile lets you tag products, run ads targeted to U.S. watch-enthusiasts, and access the built-in Shopping tab so people can buy straight from your grid.
Once you’re on Business you can claim your shop (via Facebook Commerce Manager), tag each watch in posts and Stories, and dive into the “Insights” panel to see which models and captions truly resonate with your audience. Instead of buying someone else’s followers, zero in on a handful of niche micro-influencers in the vintage watch community (think 5–20 K enthusiasts who post unboxings or “wrist check” shots) and offer them a free loaner in exchange for an honest feature—that will introduce your pieces to a real, engaged audience far faster than paid followers ever will.

Finally, keep your own feed razor-sharp: pristine, well-lit photos on a consistent color palette, short Reels showing the watch in action on a wrist or under a loupe, and a weekly “behind-the-scenes” Story diving into the history of each piece. This combo of Shopping tools, genuine influencer shout-outs and compelling content will give your vintage-watch venture the strongest footing in the U.S. market.

About your question on which type of account to choose I would recommend going with a professional account, not a personal one.

That way, you’ll be able to see analytics like how many people are saving your posts, how many are following you, and more.

You can also add contact buttons like your email, include links to your sales funnel, and later on, when you want to run Instagram ads, you’ll be allowed to do it.

Plus, you’ll be able to set up a Shop to display your products if you want to go that route.

If you plan on growing your own page, it may be best to start posting reels about the thing you want people to watch, and then follow other users who are also following other pages that post content similar to you. Many agencies do that with Models,

Besides Instagram, can you tell me which other platform I can sell through? Ebay, amazon, etsy .... I'm from Vietnamese

To sell vintage watches in the USA on Instagram, here’s a plan that fits your idea:

✅ **Business Account** – Gives access to analytics, ads, and contact buttons.

✅ **Buy aged niche accounts** (optional) – Look for accounts in fashion, vintage, or watch-collecting with real, active followers. Verify engagement (likes/comments ratio) before buying.

✅ **Content Strategy:**

* Post **high-quality photos** of your watches
* Use **US-targeted hashtags** (#vintagewatchusa, #watchcollector)
* Run **giveaways or polls** to boost interaction
* Collaborate with **micro-influencers** in the USA

✅ **Location Tagging & Reels** – Tag U.S. cities and use reels for better reach.

I could advise you to make use of the one that has Large followers because when you started using it the activities you're performing on it will get more viral and reach people.. it will also make people trust your brand base on your social media level... That's my own suggestions..

Better to make a business account so you can run ads and sell easier. Post clear watch photos, use watch hashtags, target USA buyers, and maybe work with some influencers to get real followers.

Instead of buying fake followers, just boost one of your contents that you feel performed well.
