Search Feed Arbitrage with Social Ads

Hi guys, I was recently approached by the agency as they were looking for a media buyer for Social to Search arbitrage(TikTok to Google). I am new to this, but I do have 6+ years of experience in media buying(mostly e-com).

The catch is that they are looking for someone who will run ads, find angles, and also create videos. So just wondering how many videos you launch on avg on social if you run budgets of $100k/month? Also, do you know where to find good content/video creators that have experience with this? Feel free to suggest someone if you know.

I just launched a camp on Snapchat using a lander. Generated some revenues but still not profitable at the moment. I think I just need to optimize my page. Will keep you guys posted on progress.

I also tried to launch an ad that goes directly to the arbitrage page but Snap got my ad rejected with the following reason:

  • Your ad contains a web view that leads to a disruptive user experience. We prohibit ads that lead to landing pages that include a majority of ad content or where content is extended solely to include unrelated or low quality ad content.

That does make sense

Going to launch also on TikTok.

Has ayone tried to launch there? I've been seeing a lot ppl doing pointing theirs ads directly the Arbitrage page. So I guess that must be allowed? My main concern is to get my account banned.

Let me guys know about your experience, I do have a good budget to spend on those arbitrage camps (1k/day) but I just need some guidance as it's pretty new for me.

I worked for an agency that is running content arb through TikTok, they sent people directly to the arb page with keywords, but I had no idea if they had some special treatment or not.

How was the process with Domain Active? What did they ask from you to get approved?

I work with a group of search arb guys. I've got someone I can refer you for video ad creation as long as you're willing to pay them a fair rate. They are USA based and not part of my team (i.e. I'm not selling anything) but if you'd like me to connect you direct or send over a couple examples of what you need I can make the intro.

All the search arb guys I know that do volume make 20-60 ads per day per vertical for testing.

how do they do that? 20-60 offers it is to much. i launch search campaigns on tiktok for 1 year on google feeds. very interesting to know how do they test so many offers per day.

It's a single verticle/offer, with each UGC ad testing a different hook/background/audio, etc.

Out of 40 ads maybe 10 do ok/break even, and maybe 5 from that end up being profitable. You scale those to oblivion (they burn out fast for reasons I won't get into here as it gets into the proprietary nature of the strategy) but that's why they need a never-ending flow of UGC ads daily or the music stops.

There's more to it than that but think of micro testing batches of UGC ads similar to how you might A/B/C test minute aspects of a landing page (color, button placement, etc). You're goal is really to 5-20% ROI and then toss as much money at it as possible.

The guys who 'know' understand that its more of a cashflow game than anything (i.e. how much can you float between burning cash on tuning the algos per ad set + ad spend till payout from the network).

Oh, thanks for details. I want to try UGC too. Now I use only simple videos with voiceovers or without, just with music. and get from that around 30-50% ROI. a lot of creo tests.
I want to find like-minded people to exchange information. I think search arbitrage community is too small and it's very hard to find someone with top experience.
