I've noticed that its not all about backlinks anymore and more about the quality of your content that google is looking for. Also the more pages you have indexed helps along with a natural and solid mixture of high pr and low pr do and nofollow backlinks.

What seems to be working:

1. Social media sites
2. PDF sharing sites
3. Web 2.0 sites
4. Blog commenting

My site was at #29 a few days ago and today it is #23 in a medium competition niche. However it seems to rank better when i add factual articles that are not super keyword optimized but would also be useful factual information for my readers. you can build a better list and get better results by being natural and honest.

I also created and released 3 of my own Youtube video high quality converting content and ranking them as well to rake in faster traffic so far so good by next week I will hit page one and rake in the profits I will post updates!
