Hey guys,
I have a questions for very old SEO mates who has a lot projects with some success stories.
I heard that some experts never using tools like Search Console as they can then collect all details from us what we even don't want to show them and with this easier to get penalty...
I have now started new project without adding it to Search Console and indexing timeframe is the same and even got ranked 6 keywords at some 70-100 places, Maybe with this we can even avoid sandbox?
Would love to hear experts opinions about this.

Im not a expert, but Im pretty sure that GSC dont hurt ur ranking and homepage

People are not using the console for their PBNs, for your money site its completely bullshit that using the GSC will hurt your ranking in any way. Google is NOT collecting data via the GSC - all data there is actually theirs and they are giving this info TO you. Think about it - what information Google can obtain from the Search Console, that they did not have already?

All data in the GSC is already collected by Google,
you don't actually add any script for your website so they can't track you in any kind of ways,
just a file or meta verification that you can delete later and has nothing to do with tracking

GSC is one of the rarest tool of Google that they share us some of their info. As you know, their main method is just collecting data. I don't think it's a secret ranking factor.

yeah and if this website for one reason or another ranks better than added ones and you will make what conclusions exactly? "GSC is evil!". Sorry dude that's not how none of this works. If you want to compare, try 10 websites in GSC and 10 not for term that you just invent - like non existing brand of something - something that return 0 results in Google. Get the same quality content, with the same keyword density, same length of content same age domains. Then compare which of those 20 websites ranks better. Then you can have some conclusions. Otherwise you are just getting into the tin foil caps territory.
