Search Console no longer shows backlinks

Was shocked to see that the G Search Console now shows only a sample of the latest links. None of my heavyweight links that were showing up earlier are displayed, out of 5000 or so only 60 are shown that too social ones from reddit, etc. What's happening? Have any of you experienced this? Earlier I could kind of monitor my backlinks via the Search Console but now I have no idea if a backlink is being considered as a backlink or not. Co-incidentally also see a drop in rankings. There are no manual actions shown.

It was always like that mate, its supposed to show only a sample of all the links.

Also shit can just appear/disappear for no reason... as many, many other users have reported... thats completely normal.

Btw, you should have your link list somewhere so you can check yourself if they are indexed or not. If they are indexed but are not showing on GSC its totally fine.

Found out the problem. I was looking at one of the properties, not the main one (https:// domain.com instead of domain.com). When I check for the main domain.com all links seem to be there. Now does G correlate all the links to the same domain or do we have to manually set it somewhere? I mean I have multiple versions of the site like http: domain.com and https: domain.com and so on. Some links point to http some to https and some to www.
