Search Console: Index Status vs. Sitemap Index

I am looking through my Google Search Console and noticed that my "Index Status" has dipped from 62,000 to 131. However, under site maps it says I have 56,000 indexed pages. When I do a "site:" search in google it returns 61,000 results.

How can I fix the "Index Status"?

I figured out the issue. I recently changed by site from http to https. So I went to Search Console and added two https version of my domain. I then submitted Yoast SEO and XML sitemaps for the domains. Its been just under a week since I made the changes and my Index Status has jumped to 61,000. I just searched my site name in Google and the results doubled.
