    You'll want to look into this -

    Code:
    http://www.w3schools.com/jquery/jquery_animate.asp

    It's basically this, called on the page load -

    Code:
    http://www.w3schools.com/jquery/tryit.asp?filename=tryjquery_animation1_toggle

    OK, looking at the page again, what I suggested probably wasn't what you were looking for anyway.

    This should give you a starting point -

    Code:

    <!DOCTYPE html>
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Test</title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
    <script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script>

    <style>

      body{
      margin-top:0px;
      margin-left:0px;
      }

      #mover{
      background:#98bf21;
      height:25px;
      width:100%;
      display:none;
      text-align:center;
      }

    </style>

    <script>
    	$(document).ready(function() {
    	    setTimeout(function() {
    		$("#mover").slideDown(500);
    		}, 5000);
    	});
    </script>

    </head>

    <body>

    <div id="mover" style="">TADA!</div>
    <div>Other text, images, etc.</div>

    </body>
    </html>

    You would change the 500 to a higher or lower number to show it slower or faster and the 5000 to the delay that you want after the page loads.
