Had this problem today: before if I made doc in word, added a link to the footer, saved is as a PDF an posted it on scribd it would act as a link once published on the site. I just did this today and the link is stripped from the doc. This was with a brand new account, I checked some old docs I made and they have proper links in them; is it like a spam circumvention? anyone have some info on this?

Seems like when I run into a problem like this it's always because I'm overlooking something really simple, any insight is appreciated.

why not put it after the end of paragraph and not at the footer? i always put my link below the title and after the paragraph haven't got a problem with it. unless, they have a new system that strips live links on all documents.

I used scribd for backlings and got my site sandboxed. I've made something like 27 backlinks from documents uploaded to scribd. Does this really work for you?
