Hi guys,

I have a domain that's around 4 months old. I've made 2 posts to it and a little backlinking but not much.

I have found some golden keywords to target and have a great theme that would go well with my plans for the site.

Is it OK to change the theme and go for it or will I make it harder for myself by doing so? (cause this will stuff up the home page title and desc. etc)

if you change the title of your homepage... your seo work can go to the garbage... sometimes google send to the buttom of the list the websites that change of title

or the other way around, i say...
If your site isnt ranking well at the first place, tweaking and optimizing your site (such as title, tags) can make a positive impact.

What if I change the theme but I copy the title and description so it's exactly the same?

Mohnikinsiz,

If you are making changes that are purely cosmetic and your URL's or domain name is not changing you should be fine. Changing the text in the title may have a positive or negative impact depending on what you are doing now however that would be marginal in either direction.

Here are some tips to not screwing up your site when doing redesigns,

Hope that helps you,

I think you would be fine with changing the theme. I would not change the text in the page however.
