Screw You Ezinearticles, I'm Going Articlesbase

I am sick of Ezinearticles. I am waiting for more than a week to get an article approved and then for a reason that I do not understand my article gets rejected. Usually it is "your article does not contain enough original content" where I write 10 additional words and in a couple of days it is accepted.

Last time I submitted two articles was on 31st of March and just TODAY (12 of April) they got them rejected. One for a couple of errors and the other one for "not enough original content".

I am still waiting for them to review my account for the platimun membership which means that for some days I will not be able to submit new articles.

I've had enough of this.

I wouldn't recommend articlesbase, they give nofollow link to your site.

Goarticles is the way to go

Ah, it seems that the Buzzle account creation page is back up and running. Buzzle any good?

I do not use it for backlinking. The best thing about ezinearticles is that I could easily rank my articles on first page but all this waiting....

I will see if it will be that easy with articlesbase and will surely try goarticles also

I was facing similar rejections from EZA, as a direct result of the Google farmer update. I didn't bothered to submit articles to them anymore, since it was too much hassle for articles that are very unlikely to rank after the algo change.

Instead, I switched to some alternative, High PR and ******** article directories including:
Goarticles (Auto approval for submissions)
Ideamarketers (Auto approval for submissions)
Sooparticles (Auto approval for submissions, but limited to 5 submissions per day max)

screw all of them. Google knows these sites are link farms so google penalizes links from those sites. Article directories are dead. You want to get your links from blogs or micro niche sites.

I don't agree certainly in the case of ezine. The peeps there have always insisted on unique and quality work and have cast a set of human eyes over ever submission, google is not stupid, it can almost certain read when content has been spun from something else, it can probably even detect quality spun stuff that has passed human verification at ezine.

Provided the work is unique and of a reasonable quality then it will carry some 'kudos', the trouble is of course allocating the time and resources to achieve unique.

As for getting an ezine to rank on the first page, do not also forget the value the resource box links will be giving to your site.

That was until they added the nofollow tag in the resource box links.

Yes, EZA is enforcing stringent submission rules. If they don't like your content, you're dead.

Its good to use other methods of link building rather than completely relying on article directories links

Same here I noticed the similar thing. After the google algo change I submitted an article to EZA and it took 13 days to get accepted! Another one I noticed today they rejected it (after another 13 days) for just one word which was a coined phrase not in the dictionary officially. I just corrected and we will see how long it will take.

From my own personal experience, article directories are not dead yet. I saw significant serp movement after submitting well-spunned articles and human-readable articles using AMR to EZA and other high PR directories.

Must be you then? Just checked my own links (from ezine) through SEO Spy Glass and it shows the links as definitely do follow..

Hub pages on the other hand is a PITA and that content needs constant maintenance to remain no follow.

Jeez, you checked your links through SEO spy glass for this? Just check the source code of the article and you can easily see if it is a do follow or nofollow. :D

Anyway, I checked too and it is indeed do follow. After the farmer update, they introduced a number of changes and adding nofollow attribute to resource box was one of them. But it seems that due to negative feedbacks from authors they switched back to do follow.

The software was already open I simply had to load the file. Couple of days ago I was looking at my linking pattern and measuring it against my top 3 competitors to spot the advantages..... Was easier than loading the ezine page up..

articlebase is the best because it still manages to get good ranking. I dont see ezinearticles anywhere in the picture, they have gone down. it is buzzle, buzzle everywhere, they have a team of writers (a megaaaaa team) who work for them and they create an impression as if general writers are posting them. Just go see their deep-linking.

Write 10-15 articles, and then submit them all at once (ezine), that way, if 10 get accepted, you become "trusted" member right away or whatever. And your time gets decreased to 24-48hrs
