Screw Gurus!

How can you rewind a flash video that doesn't have a bottom bar? Download Helper can't detect these type of videos it seems so I can't even DL it for playback on my own media player that allows me to rewind or FF.

I'm so over how controlling these gurus are with the videos on their presell pages!

No one knows how to do this? There has to be a way...

Could you post an example site with such an embedded video?

I know...I had to watch a 20 min video the other day...just to find out they wanted 5 grand for the course at the end, I was like wtf lol. It looked like a good course but im not spending 5g's on a course fuck that.

Dowload Real Player Downloader. I've used it download A TON of sales videos and youtube videos online.

Basically everytime a flash animation (including video) loads up on a page, the Real Player Downloader opens and asks if you want to download this animation/movie.

It also gives you an option to download the video by hovering over it with your mouse (Chrome, Firefox).

Just google search "real player download video"

should be the first result

What's FRAPS?

With the exception of incognito/private browsing modes, all Flash videos are cached/stored locally in tmp file in every browser I've seen.

What this means is you have to let a Flash video play once through without interruption, but then you have it locally on your computer somewhere, depending on your browser/operating system.

Do a quick search for: where is flash video saved [browser] [operating system.]

I've grabbed videos this way a million times

After you've found the location of your (local) Flash files, you can play them with VLC (free) (or your player of choice).

btw- i almost didn't even stop in this thread because of the quasi-unrelated subject title. If you rename it, it might attract people who can help with the exact problem/have their own cool hacks to contribute.

a software that measures and shows you fps (frames per second) and you can also record games and other stuff...

it's absolute crap if you're trying to record dirt 2 on pc lol
