who needs fiverr?

My money takes more than half a month to clear!
they take a big bite 20%, leaving you $4 AND they fucking will not pay paypal fees! Give me a fucking break. many others would save you the paypal fees. They can simply send the money as "gift" and they most of the time will not have to pay fees on their end too! Why would they not do that?
Listed items and will not even get views! (I see others comments. I add tags, deliver fast, 100% feedback)
They deny my listings WITHOUT a fucking explanation! this is unheard of. at least refer me to your TOS if any that i violate! NO - they deny it, no explanation, and not even a link back to your ads. You ads are gone!
So afraid that people would complete transactions bypassing fiverr - every time I am sending a message, they are super sensitive, censoring any words like email, pay, and give you warning?! what a joke!

I have tried tenrr, tenbux and i get more views than fiverr, though i suspect the view count on tenrr is not real, but at least is free! I wonder if anybody has sucess with tenrr or tenbux?

Charging the same amount of money - $5, I net $4.07 on eBay after paypal fees, ebay final fees, and I will net less than $3.70 on fiverr (not taking into account ebay listing fees, and the fiverr net can be increased by not withdrawing one by one). still.

so who needs fiverr? screw fiverr!

Easily fixed with clones:

Charge more money for your gig, most clones are a week to clear (like mine) to 2 weeks. All my sellers are happy

i didnt know that many people do so well on fiverr.. i saw someone mentioning having 30 orders a day.

btw, i am in the mood today. someone spammed my tenrr mailbox with his new fiverr-type site: GigState.com
i did not even bother to check the site, but he got free advertising. well, if a link on BHW is bad, he deserves it too. lol.

nice site. you code it yourself?

Good point. Always thought fiverr was mostly for people who would like to make some money in their free time and can't be taken as a serious business option.

send as a gift when they are doing 10,000+ orders a day?? LOL

The use of fiverr is the amounts of traffic already present, plus the high conversion rate as buyers already trust the website, it's processing and refund policy.

Hard to beat that alone you know.

Why not just beat fiverr -- Put a link to a page or video in your description - something along the lines of "you must agree before you buy this gig" ... get it approved by fiverr...... then go change the page content to tell the person to email the info to you for approval...... now you have their email address and can offer direct deals.

It sucks that Fiverr takes $1 from the gig and $1 to withdrawal. What I do is when my account has $200 available for withdraw I withdraw it and am only hit with a $1 fee. Just don't withdraw every time you get $4 in your account and the fees are not that bad.

Just my 2 cents.

It is a good and easy source to find clients without doing any work or promotion, but the fees are definitely outrageous. 20% plus a min. paypal fee of $1? What is that, like a convenience fee? That's a convenient way to screw us out of our own money. They can't have one larger fee because that would be ridiculous, so let's add on a few smaller ones if you actually want to withdraw it. Brilliant!

I can't wait until they are publicly traded, add more fees, and take a downward skid faster than facebook did. The corporate greed needs to end.

I haven't looked into it, but I'm going to attempt to write-off every fee on my taxes.

This is how the Fiverr system works if there is any confusion:

You make a sale for $5 = $5 - $1 Fiverr Free - 2 cents paypal fee = $3.98 in your paypal account.

It is NOT $1 to withdraw.

Fiverr is worth it if you get to Level 2 and can start selling $25 gigs in quantities of 8

This is from the Fiverr Service Terms page:

"Paypal charges 2% of the total withdrawal sum, and up to a maximum of $1 when withdrawing revenues. Withdrawing $50 or more in one go will save you a little cash."

Their policy basically challenges you to keep as much money in fiverr before you withdraw, because you will have less fees. If you are withdrawing frequently or even every $4 you make, then it would be very foolish imo, unless you're not getting hardly any gigs and can't wait around for months to withdraw. I would personally rather get more of my earned gig money than let fiverr keep it, but I guess it's up to you.

This is what I do as well. It only saves a few pennies per order, but well worth it in the end for me.

I know how you feel man, just leave the website. Can't wait my funds to be cleared and get the fuck out of there. Those assholes can't do a single coding on the website full with bugs. The support is the best (not!), especially with their 2-3 template answers (answer for every kind of question).

My account (lvl 2) had problems after their "updates" and they say it's my fault, everything is automated, lol. After 700 sales in few months, none of them with negative reviews, no late orders, they say it's my fault and i can just hope that my account will be alright again after some time (to have express delivery on my gigs).

However, the stupid website will last 1-2 more years max, believe me. They are earning around 13k per day and don't want to invest a single dollar.

Damn i need to stop drinking :/ Just leave the retarded website.

If your level 2 account it's almost imposible to don't have any kind of sales in a day.

is fiverr really that bad? i was planning on doing something fiverr for a start...

Really hope you've all set up PayPal for microtransaction fees.
