they are such bastards, they don't allow 2 week free trial any more, so I can't use their service for free any more!

but on a serious note, now that they don't allow free trial, what is the most cost effective way to check backlinks? I am thinking majestic at $50 a month or group buy. or I could keep paying $7 every 7 days, that's $30 a month, but it's annoying to have to create accouts over and over again. but I am not sure about group buy, there is one I found on google for $8 a month but it could be a scam.

I know some people get together to pay for one AHREF account that they share. Assuming you can trust the people that all share the account, it's worth going down that route.

Wait...so you are complaining that a service no longer gives you free trials so they are "bastards"? You do realize that it does cost money to run correct? Pay for it or don't, but don't complain that you "deserve" to use their service while it's costing them money to run it.

You may try SEO Spyglass. It has free trial. Then if you like it, it costs $124.75 one time fee.

Semrush? they offer free trial. But I agree with @firstnamelastname, you use their free trials and when they don't offer it anymore you move on. Please don't call them a "bastard", they deserve their money too.
