Guys,

If a site has JWPlayer showing videos is there an easy way to download or record the screen. I have Camtasia but its really heavy on resource.

Any quick and easy solutions??

capturewiz, its free and does the job

have you also tried download helper to check if the flash video downloadable?

give the link so we can check

I remember there's a software from sothink that can rip flash content off any webpage...can't exactly remember the name though...

Try Jing
w3DOTtechsmithDOTcom/jing/
Its easy, lighweight & u can use it for free.
I usually make screencasts & works like a charm

I think what the OP is trying to say is that, "Is there
a way to GRAB/RIP a video from a site that is using
JWPlayer as a player for showing the video?"

Katarina is correct in saying that DownloadHelper is
a good, free tool for the job. It doesn't capture the
video. Instead, it sees the source of the video and
allows you to download it directly.

It is a free Firefox addon and you can get it below:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

Record the screen with camtesia its works just great and has lot of options....:)

That's like using a Camcorder to DVR your favourite TV Shows. :D

Use Internet Download Manager or Orbit Downloader - these both have FF/IE/Chrome addons that add a little 'Download with XYZ' button that easily allow you to download the FLV file.
