125xyz.com/category/finance/

I used NoIndex and No follow tags on these category pages. and screaming frog showing its a critical issue with high priority.

what should i do now?

Is using noidex and nofollow tags on blog category pages Big Issue?

No-indexing and no-following category pages can seriously affect your website's SEO. It prevents search engines from indexing the pages and following the links within, affecting the website's discoverability and internal linking. Using no-index and no-follow tags on category pages is okay only when the content is too low or there is duplicate content, then no-indexing and no-following are okay. Go through your category pages' content, optimize them, and improve internal linking, then you can remove the no-index and no-follow tags from category pages.

One thing is to set them as noindex but nofollow can carry deep consequences if not used properly.

That link attribute states search engine bots to NOT follow the crawling process past that link. Meaning, any and all pages internally linked on that category page will NOT be crawled organically by search engine bots.

Also, if if you set them as noindex, nofollow most likely they will be left out of the site´s sitemap so, they will NEVER be crawled.

If your category pages are thin or duplicate content, noindex can help avoid potential SEO issues, while nofollow can prevent passing link equity through less important links. But if these pages provide unique value and aid navigation, you might want to keep them indexed and followable. The Screaming Frog warning is an alert to review your use of these tags they align with your specific goals.

if your category pages provide value to users and search engines. If they are well-organized and help users to find relevant content .No need for No follow and No Index

Buongiorno complimenti per il vostro forum, premetto che sono un principiante in materia ma non di età,e ho lo stesso problema con categorie che ho in noidex con yo..st volevo qualche consiglio su come indicizzarle grazie ancora

If the category page is important for user navigation or SEO, I think it would be better to remove the noindex tag, otherwise it may affect link equity.

good morning I hope you are all well, kindly given my incompetence on the subject (I ventured into an adult website without understanding anything about SEO) is there anyone who can kindly give me some advice to improve my site or should I leave it alone later 4 years of puzzles thanks again
