if you use it directly then you’ll be in trouble I would recommend spinning it twice, then run via copyscape and make it unique, and please don’t use it on a money site.

It's not exactly safe unless the article you got from the expired blog is really valuable. As you already know, there are a lot of private expired article scrapers which scrape articles from waybackmachine so any valuable content is literally TAKEN.
So, the only ones you would find are the low quality ones that nobody uses. If you do find a valuable one, you need to make sure it's unique and that no blog is using it. Either way, manually rewriting the article and adding in few information of your own is the best way to make it safe for your money site + it doesn't require much work.

I've tried this myself with varying results.
Like others have said, please keep in mind that people are already probably using the articles you've found on their sites.
You REALLY need to be adamant about doing searches surrounding paragraphs with the content of said posts so you don't fill up your site with a lot of copied content. That would put an end to your journey rather quickly. You think you're finding unique content, but you're not

It is safe to use when you make it Unique and use for Tier 2 Blogs. Not Recommended for Main Site.

It might seem safer.. but i suggest you better avoid it as it is for a Money site. So better dont risk it
