Scraping users by location & hashtags

Hey guys as the title says, which tool is the best one to scrape users by specific location and specific hashtags?

Example: I need them to be in 200-2000 followers range, located in Dallas, by hashtags #xxx #xxx

I am using Jarvee, but can't find the option there..

I have checked this tool already, but this one offers to download media which I don't need. I just need to scrape users from specifics hashtags in location.

Thanks for mentioning it. For right now Vurku only support grabbing posts, but there is some beta functionality for scraping users. It's not quite there yet (As far as what you're looking for) @decanl, but I'll let you know when it is! Cheers.

What you are trying to do isn't possible with search.

ISG searches are limited. You cannot requested images in X location with Y hashtags.

The only option you have is to FILTER on the results from one of the searches.

So if you search for images via EXPLORE_LOCATION_URL, you can then filter the results to ignore those without #tag in the caption.
Likewise, you could search for images via HASHTAG and ignore those not taken in in location.


WARNING. Depending on you location / hastag you may end up ignoring 99% of images. This can lead to excessive requests made to the server should you want (n) results, causing you to get a block.
i.e. you want 1000 results, getting a 1% hit rate, so you need to 100,000 results to get 1000 matches.[0]

Also location search with hashtag filter may be better than hashtag search with location filter. Test it on a sample and find out.

[0] one way around this is to share your search. So you use (n) of your accounts for the one search, so it isn't just one account making all the requests.

I figured out a way which works very well with Jarvee.

So I scraped the best hashtags which I need (15) found related hashtags with Jarvee, so I have around 40-45 related hashtags.
Then I put in the settings of Jarvee so that he follows the accounts from my hashtags only in location X

As he does it, Jarvee extracts the users followed = I have the users needed.

Which is still only filtering a result set and if badly picked tags / locations are picked will mean either no matches or warnings due to over requests.
