Scraping Lists For SEO Blogger Outreach Emails + Backlinks

you "could" use scrapebox to get the mails and skip hunter.io, but thats up to you and does not really help clean up the list any more because all hunter is doing is scraping available data, they are not testing it.

I guess you could identify patterns like if an email is always [email protected] then filter mails with the word accounting in them. Random example, but you get the point.

Also you could run all the mails thru the email verifier in the email scraper plugin - a scrapebox plugin - to help filter out bad emails and reducing bouncing.

This is definitely one of the steps I am missing. I need to validate the email addresses

All hunter.io is doing is crawling the site and keeping emails from the domain. So if the domain is cars.com

hunter crawls that site and gives you any email from [email protected] more or less.

So the email scraper plugin has an option to keep only emails from the domain its self.

Or you could scrape all the mails from the site and mail the @gmail etc.. and the rest too, try a split test for example and see what nets you better response. You may be massively missing out, who knows.

hunger may be scraping the whois for the site too, but that has limited emails, especially after GDPR went into effect.
