I have Scrapebox with full plugins, can't seem to find a way to scrape specifically fax numbers. Anyone have a tool or method that can do this? If you're in to b2b marketing and you aren't doing fax lead gen- you're missing out!

Scrapebox has a phone number scraper, but it will scrape all phone numbers.

So unless you are working with a directory, where formatting is always the same, then scrapebox wouldn't have a way to know what number is a fax number and what is not. Because you need markers to identify a fax number.

Thanks, so most likely the only way to get fax numbers would be from scraping a bunch of websites related to the designated industry, scrape all numbers, and then run them through some bulk software that can verify which that are fax numbers? Anyone know of such software that can bulk check numbers?

I would think the Whois scraper would show the Fax number because there is an option on domain lookups for fax, but it didn't. :(

You can edit the whois definition file to get faxes inplace of something else.

But yes just scraping a ton of numbers and either using software to find if they are faxes or just dial them all.

Depends what you're doing, you could just scrape a business directory of all numbers and if you're bulk faxing them - then just hit them all including phone numbers (which would be annoying, but hey it sounds you're spamming anyway so what does it matter).
