Scraping Emails

I need to scrape some emails that come up with a few different search terms, and that come up on certain sites. It's really only about 5 search terms.

Do you think I should get proxies for this? Do I need something like scrapebox or will a free email scraper work okay?

Of cos you should always get a proxies. Or at least use a VPS so that you IP do not get blacklisted

Are you scrape from the same website or from a google query ?

Its better to use proxies, So you can easily Finish the task.

You can scrape emails without any tools, however if you can get SB you will get much more emails. And no need to buy proxies, the ones you can get from SB will work fine.

I want to scrape from google queries. I was testing earlier tonight on some free programs to see if they were collecting the URLS that came up in the searches, but they didn't seem to get everything. I was also getting google Captcha screens.

This is why you need proxies and "Google" proxies at that. Most free proxies are already banned by Google, so you won't be able to use them; even many of the paid proxies are banned. Scraping without proxies is OK for small amount of queries, just make sure that you "pause" for longer than 25 seconds between queries (you will be able to run more of them this way) and using random pause intervals is even better. So set your scraper to wait between say 25 and 40 seconds between each search if there's an option for that.

Thanks for the replies guys. I ended up using a program called "Email Scraper Wizard" that is free and worked fairly well (if slow). I found about 2.5k emails and they agreed to pay $475 for them.

Now it's divided into just the email providers but if you get creative you can spin that to your favor. The data is old and abused, but it's free.
